The 32-year-old was unable to contribute at a relevant level throughout Indiana's playoff run last year, but he has an opportunity to carve out regular-season minutes off the bench if Kevin Huerter (shoulder) -- who is fully cleared but yet to log preseason action -- is eased into gameplay.

The second-year player still needs to improve his shot efficiency and show up more on defense, but he has all the tools to succeed alongside Sexton in the backcourt.
