Impact Barnes has been extremely inconsistent at the start of the season, and while he showed glimpses of being a productive fantasy option amid a decent start to the campaign, the wheels have fallen off quickly. He's scored in single digits in three of his last four outings and hasn't even reached the five-point plateau in the previous two. He's averaging just 6.7 points per game since the beginning of November.

Chris Paul - Logs only 20 minutes Wednesday Paul chipped in 10 points (3-7 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 127-100 loss to the Rockets.
Impact Julian Champagnie was the only starter who played more than 25 minutes for the Spurs in this blowout loss, and it made no sense to keep Paul on the court in a game in which the Spurs were not going to mount a comeback. This was a step in the wrong direction for Paul in terms of his fantasy production, but it was mainly related to how the game unfolded and not a negative trend. He had delivered three straight double-doubles before this dud, and he should continue to play a prominent role in the Spurs' offensive scheme going forward.

Victor Wembanyama - Leads Spurs in blowout loss Wembanyama logged 15 points (6-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 127-100 loss to the Rockets.
Impact The fact that Wembanyama led the Spurs in scoring with only 15 points is a testament to how much the team struggled on the offensive end of the court. The Frenchman failed to surpass the 15-point mark just for the third time this season, but fantasy managers shouldn't be worried about an off night for the star big man. Even with this subpar effort in a 27-point blowout, Wembanyama is still averaging 17.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.4 blocks, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. The fact that he's only shooting 41.2 percent from the field suggests his scoring numbers should eventually rise as the season progresses.
