Keita Bates-Diop - Questionable WednesdayBates-Diop is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies due a right ankle sprain, Ty Jager of PoundingTheRock.com reports.
ImpactIt is unclear when Bates-Diop suffered his injury, but it isn't serious enough to rule him out immediately. If the 26-year-old big man is ultimately ruled out, his next chance to suit up will be Friday's matchup with Golden State. Bates-Diop will likely move to the bench even if he can play against Memphis.

Keldon Johnson - Questionable WednesdayJohnson (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
ImpactJohnson has missed the past two games with hamstring tightness, prompting Keita Bates-Diop (ankle) to join the starting lineup. However, Bates-Diop is also questionable Wednesday, so the Spurs may have to turn elsewhere. If both players are sidelined, more minutes could be in store for Doug McDermott, Stanley Johnson and Isaiah Roby.

Ja Morant - Off injury report for WednesdayMorant (thigh) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Spurs.
ImpactMorant could not give it a go in either of the team's back-to-back set Sunday and Monday due to some right thigh soreness, but it appears the issue has subsided enough for him to retake the floor Wednesday. He could have a big effort in store against a Spurs team that ranks worst in the league in defensive rating (118.7), and his return figures to send Tyus Jones back to the bench.

Tre Jones - Leads way in scoring, assists MondayJones finished with 18 points (6-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven assists and four rebounds across 30 minutes in Monday's 121-113 loss to the Grizzlies.
ImpactWith Devin Vassell (knee) sidelined for a fourth straight game and with Keldon Johnson (hamstring) missing his second game in a row, the Spurs turned to Jones to pick up the slack in the scoring department. Jones has now reached the 18-point mark in three consecutive contests, shooting 48.1 percent from the field over that stretch while drilling all nine of his free-throw attempts. The point guard will continue to bring most of his value in the assists and steals categories moving forward, but with Vassell likely sidelined until the All-Star break, Jones should benefit from a slight uptick in his field-goal attempts and scoring output even when Johnson returns to action.

Tyus Jones - Dazzles again in place of MorantJones finished with 24 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six assists, three steals and three rebounds across 35 minutes in Monday's 121-113 win over the Spurs.
ImpactWith Ja Morant (thigh) sidelined for the second game in a row, Jones got the opportunity to match up head-to-head with younger brother Tre Jones, the Spurs' starting point guard. Big brother got the better of his sibling, clearing 20 points for the second night in a row while leading the Grizzlies in assists and tying for the team lead in steals. Though he'll remain an elite streaming option for assists and steals any time Morant is sidelined, Jones will likely see his playing time take a major hit if Morant is back in action for the Grizzlies' rematch Wednesday with the Spurs.
