Impact Henderson has had a rough start to his NBA career -- at least considering the expectations that carry with being the second overall pick in the draft -- but this was his best outing of the season by a wide margin. This 33-point outing was a season-high mark for the rookie, and Henderson is averaging 16.0 points, 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in 10 appearances since moving back to the first unit.

Impact The Trail Blazers suffered one of the biggest defeats in NBA history and the entire team struggled on both ends of the court. Even though Henderson's fantasy stat line looks decent on paper, the fact that he needed 21 shots to score 13 points isn't encouraging. Even worse for him is the fact that the rookie is already having a rough season in terms of shooting efficiency. Through 28 appearances (13 starts), the third pick of the 2023 NBA Draft is making 36 percent of his shots and just 29.3 percent of his three-point attempts.

Impact Henderson has not lived up to the hype of being one of the top picks in the 2023 NBA Draft, and he has evidenced problems adjusting to the next level due to the pace of the game while also having issues with his decision-making. Henderson has enough talent to bounce back and should only get better as he matures, but right now, he's well behind some other rookies from the same class. Since recovering his starting role on Dec. 28, Henderson is averaging 15.1 points, 6.6 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game, but he's also shooting a woeful 37.5 percent from the field.
