Impact Rozier was in fine form despite the loss, leading the way with a polished offensive performance. Coming off a fantastic 2021-22 season, Rozier is locked in as a solid mid-round fantasy target with some upside left to spare. LaMelo Ball was unable to finish the game due to an ankle sprain, putting his season debut in some doubt. If he cannot recover in time, Rozier could get a small, short-term bump.

Impact It wasn't a pretty start for Rozier after shooting just 2-of-7 from the field and 0-for-4 from three-point range in the first half. He got hot in the second half, hitting a three on his first shot attempt of the third and finishing with 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting over the final two quarters. He also recorded three assists in the second half while going 4-for-4 at the free-throw line.

Impact Rozier was one of three starters who scored in double digits for the Hornets, but his lack of efficiency certainly hurt the team as Charlotte lost by more than 40 points. Rozier has never been known for shooting at an elite clip, but his role as one of the team's go-to players on offense shouldn't be questioned as the regular season approaches.

Impact Rozier has scored at least 15 points in four of his last five appearances, but he has struggled a bit with his shot -- those woes have been particularly noticeable from beyond the arc since the combo guard has made just 18.8 percent of his treys during that five-game span.
