Shipped to Portland in blockbuster The Trail Blazers acquired Satoransky, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Josh Hart, Didi Louzada (knee) a protected 2022 first-round pick and two future second-round picks from the Pelican... Impact Satoransky and Louzada should be viewed as throw-ins in the deal, as neither player is likely to emerge as a consistent rotation player for Portland in the second half of the season. After New Orleans acquired him from Chicago this offseason in the sign-and-trade deal that sent Lonzo Ball to the Bulls, Satoransky held a minor role in the rotation for the first two months of the campaign, averaging just 2.8 points, 2.4 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 0.4 steals in 15.0 minutes per game while shooting 29.9 percent from the field. Satoransky had appeared in just one game for New Orleans since the beginning of January, with undrafted rookie Jose Alvarado supplanting him in the rotation as the backup point guard. He likely won't be available to make his Trail Blazers debut until Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
