Impact Earlier Thursday, the Nets sent Dinwiddie to Toronto in exchange for Dennis Schroder and Thaddeus Young, but the Raptors will now part ways with the veteran guard, who will hit the buyout market. Dinwiddie has a $1.5 million bonus tied to games played, which appears to be the primary motivation behind the Raptors' decision to waive him. Spencer Dinwiddie - Headed to Toronto Dinwiddie was traded from the Nets to the Raptors along with Dennis Smith on Thursday in exchange for Dennis Schroder and Thaddeus Young, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Impact Dinwiddie served as the Nets' starting point guard to begin the 2023-24 campaign but saw a slight decrease in the production across the board, averaging 12.6 points, 6.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game. Immanuel Quickley has been the starting point guard in Toronto since being traded from New York, so Dinwiddie will likely have to settle for a backup role with his new team.

Impact Poeltl has an excellent touch around the rim, shoots the ball at a high clip and is an outstanding rebounder -- traits that make him a reliable fantasy contributor and a player who can post double-doubles on a regular basis. He missed 11 games in January due to a nagging ankle injury, but he seems to be trending in the right direction now that he's back on the court, and he should have a sizable role if he stays with Toronto past the trade deadline.

Impact Barrett hit the 23-point mark after missing the Feb. 5 loss to the Pelicans, an identical scenario to what happened when he played 43 minutes in a 135-127 loss to the Thunder on Feb. 4 after missing three straight outings. Barrett has been reliable as Toronto's main scoring weapon following the departure of Pascal Siakam, who got traded to the Indiana Pacers in January, and he's scored at least 20 points in five straight appearances.
