ImpactIt appears VanVleet will play after all despite head coach Nick Nurse's previous comment regarding his availability. Expectations should be tempered given his struggles against Charlotte and the fact that he isn't feeling 100 percent, but it's still a good sign that he's going to be able to play Saturday. VanVleet is averaging 21.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.6 steals over 38.2 minutes per game this season.

ImpactVanVleet managed to play through knee soreness during Friday's loss to the Hornets, but it sounds like he probably won't be available for the second half of Toronto's back-to-back set. He hasn't officially been ruled out yet, but Nurse's statement is a pretty good indicator that he won't play. If he's ultimately ruled out, Dalano Banton and Malachi Flynn should see increased run in the Raptors' backcourt.

The 27-year-old is averaging 21.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 37.6 minutes per game this season.
