Thaddeus Young - Expected to be available SaturdayYoung is expected to be available for Saturday's contest against the Nuggets, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ImpactIt's not clear what sort of role Young will play, but almost anything is better than the 26 appearances he made with the Spurs -- 16 of which occurred before December. He'll be competing for reserve minutes at forward and backup center with Yuta Watanabe, Chris Boucher, Khem Birch and others.

Jae'Sean Tate - Gets 40 minutes in lossTate supplied 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block across 40 minutes Thursday in the Rockets' 139-120 loss to the Raptors.
ImpactTate had seen most of his playing time at small forward in the Rockets' last two games, but with head coach Stephen Silas moving Alperen Sengun to the bench Thursday, the second-year player shifted up to power forward. Even though Eric Gordon (heel) remained sidelined for the third straight game, the Rockets didn't make Sengun (21 minutes) as much of a priority, allowing Tate to pick up some extra minutes after he logged 32 in both of the previous two contests. Tate was able to take advantage of the elevated run, contributing in each of the main fantasy categories except for three-pointers. He's now averaging 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.4 three-pointers in 31.6 minutes per game over the Rockets' first five contests of February while shooting 73.3 percent from the free-throw line and 47.6 percent from the field. While he doesn't stand out in any one area, Tate's recent level of production makes him a low-end performer in 12-team leagues.
