Impact The rookie had been operating as the Jazz's starting point guard prior to suffering a right foot injury Dec. 13, but head coach Will Hardy opted to bring George back in a bench role Tuesday in his return from a six-game absence. George didn't exactly light it up in his first game back in action, but he still saw more minutes than starter Kris Dunn (19 minutes) and should eventually move back up to the top unit once his foot injury is further in the rear-view mirror.

Omer Yurtseven - Gets two minutes in first game back Yurtseven (illness) played two minutes in Tuesday's 130-118 win over the Spurs, missing his only field-goal attempt while recording no other statistics.
Impact Though Yurtseven received minutes in his return from a four-game absence due to an illness, he wasn't included in the rotation. Yurtseven and three other deep reserves (Brice Sensabaugh, Luka Samanic and Taylor Hendricks) all played the final 2:08 of the contest when Utah had essentially already secured the win. With Utah at full strength in the frontcourt, Yurtseven looks as though he'll rank no higher than third in the pecking order at center behind Walker Kessler and Kelly Olynyk.

Jordan Clarkson - Puts up 24 points off bench Clarkson fouled out of Tuesday's 130-118 victory over San Antonio after recording 24 points (7-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 8-8 FT), six rebounds and eight assists over 27 minutes.
Impact Clarkson had been a starter to start the season but has played off the bench in the last two games, and judging by his numbers, that might not change for the foreseeable future -- he dropped 30 against the Raptors and hit 24 in this win over San Antonio. This change of role wouldn't affect Clarkson's fantasy upside, as he'd remain a valuable offensive for Utah even if he comes off the bench. He has logged at least 27 minutes in the two games in which he hasn't started.

Lauri Markkanen - Scores team-high 31 points Markkanen amassed 31 points (12-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 130-118 win over San Antonio.
Impact Markkanen hasn't missed a beat since sitting out the win over the Pistons on Dec. 21, scoring at least 30 points in his last two games and showing he remains the go-to player on offense for the Jazz. Since returning from an eight-game absence due to a hamstring injury between late November and early December, Markkanen has been on fire for the Jazz, averaging 25.7 points per game.

Collin Sexton - Excellent against San Antonio Sexton chipped in 20 points (8-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 130-118 victory over San Antonio.
Impact Sexton only missed two shots throughout the game -- both from beyond the arc, which isn't one of his strongest areas -- and delivered a strong all-around effort as the Jazz cruised to victory over the Spurs on the road. Sexton has been spectacular as a starter for the Jazz, reaching the 20-point plateau in six of eight games while also averaging 4.6 assists per outing in that span.

Talen Horton-Tucker - Available to play Tuesday Horton-Tucker (foot) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Impact Horton-Tucker missed the past two games for Utah and was carrying a questionable tag prior to this update. Although he will be available Tuesday, it will be interesting to see what type of role he will play, as the Jazz are also getting Keyonte George (foot) back in the mix. Horton-Tucker has fared well in December, posting averages of 16.3 points, 4.6 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.8 three-pointers.

Impact George is set to return from a six-game absence due to right foot soreness. Talen Horton-Tucker (foot) has also been cleared for action following a two-game absence, so Kris Dunn and Collin Sexton will see decreased usage. That being said, Sexton has been excellent in George's stead, averaging 22.8 on 45.9 percent shooting over the last six games, making him a candidate to maintain a sizable role while George ramps up.

Impact Dunn has made just four starts this season, but he has been a serviceable player in the backcourt and is proving he can be reliable in fantasy, even if it's as a streaming option in category-based leagues. In those four starts, Dunn is averaging 10.0 points, 7.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, he's averaging 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in December.
