Rudy Gay - Pedestrian numbers in returnGay (knee/illness) finished with three points (1-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two assists and one rebound across 13 minutes Sunday in the Jazz's 118-114 win over the Suns.
ImpactBack in action after missing the Jazz's previous six games with a sore right knee and an illness, Gay re-entered head coach Quin Snyder's rotation as a replacement for Eric Paschall, who didn't leave the bench. Gay could pick up a few extra minutes in the games to come now that he's healthy again, but he'll be little more than a deep-league option with Utah at full strength in the frontcourt.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker - Not in rotation with JazzAlexander-Walker has been a DNP-CD in each of the Jazz's last three games.
ImpactAlexander-Walker arrived in Utah shortly before the trade deadline after being re-routed from Portland, but the 2019 first-round pick has not been a part of Utah's regular rotation. He appeared in each of his first two games with the Jazz but logged just five total minutes in garbage time. Barring an injury or two to the Utah backcourt, Alexander-Walker will likely remain on the fringes of the rotation for the remainder of the regular season.

Deandre Ayton - Stays hot in lossAyton provided 23 points (11-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 118-114 loss to Utah.
ImpactAyton matched his lowest scoring total of the season when he posted six points in Thursday's win over Oklahoma City, but he's bounced back since then with 20-plus points in each of the last two games. He also tied for the team lead on the boards and has had at least five rebounds in each of his appearances since returning to the court at the beginning of February.

Cameron Johnson - Well-rounded performance SundayJohnson totaled 23 points (7-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and five assists over 35 minutes during Sunday's 118-114 loss to Utah.
ImpactJohnson remained in the starting lineup for a third consecutive game Sunday, and he converted 66.7 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc in the narrow loss. He's had plenty of playing time since joining the starting five and has averaged 19.7 points, 3.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 31.7 minutes per game during that time.

Devin Booker - Paces Suns on scoreboardBooker provided 30 points (12-24 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 40 minutes during Sunday's 118-114 loss to the Jazz.
ImpactBooker hasn't missed a beat since the Suns resumed play, as he's scored at least 25 points in each of the last three games. He also tied for the team lead in rebounds while pacing Phoenix in assists. Booker should continue to have plenty of opportunities to generate production outside of the scoring column while Cameron Payne (wrist) remains out, not to mention Chris Paul's long-term absence.

Mike Conley - Logs 13 points in victoryConley provided 13 points (5-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Sunday's 118-114 win over the Suns.
ImpactConley was held to single-digit scoring totals in each of Utah's three games leading up to the All-Star break, but he's averaged 14.0 points across the last two games. He didn't have much production in rebounds or assists Sunday, but it's been encouraging to see him return to form on the scoreboard after the team's layoff.
