Kyshawn George - Back in starting five on Friday George will enter the starting lineup in Friday's preseason finale against the Knicks.
Impact With Corey Kispert (back) and Bilal Coulibaly (finger) ruled out, George will return to the starting lineup. The 20-year-old will likely struggle to find significant playing time unless injuries arise in the regular season, though if the team struggles it would not be shocking to see the rookie receive an uptick in minutes.

Impact Coulibaly is dealing with a sprained left index finger, and it remains to be seen if the injury will allow him to be available for the regular-season opener against the Celtics next Thursday. If that's not the case, then Corey Kispert (back) and rookie Carlton Carrington would figure to see an uptick in playing time.

Corey Kispert - Shooting woes surface Monday Kispert finished with nine points (3-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and a block across 26 minutes in Monday's 131-92 preseason loss to the Nets.
Impact The Wizards struggled on offense Monday and Kispert couldn't escape those woes, and he didn't do much in other categories to deliver even some kind of fantasy upside. Kispert is slated to open the 2024-25 regular season as the backup shooting guard behind Bilal Coulibaly, though he could receive a few spot starts from time to time.

Jordan Poole - Scores team-high 13 points Poole finished with 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 23 minutes in Monday's 131-92 preseason loss to the Nets.
Impact Poole was the leading scorer for the Wizards on Monday, though that also shows how bad the team was on the offensive end of the court. Poole is expected to be one of the Wizards' few reliable fantasy options on a regular basis, and while it remains to be seen how he'll play at point guard, it's worth noting the scoring should be there one way or another. After all, Poole has averaged at least 17.0 points per game in his last three seasons.

Kyle Kuzma - Poor shooting display Monday Kuzma finished with seven points (3-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and a steal across 25 minutes in Monday's 131-92 preseason loss to the Nets.
Impact The Wizards need Kuzma to be at his best once the regular season begins if they want to have any shot at improving following a dreadful 2023-24 campaign, and even though preseason stats should be taken with a grain of salt, this performance was certainly subpar. Kuzma averaged a career-best 22.2 points per game in 2023-24 and has scored at least 20 points per game in each of his last two campaigns in The Association.
