Deni Avdija - Leads way with double-double game Avdija ended with 22 points (8-19 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 36 minutes in Saturday's 112-109 win over Toronto.

Impact Avdija led all players in Saturday's contest in rebounds while handing out a handful of assists and pacing the Wizards in scoring in a well-rounded performance in a winning effort. Avdija recorded his seventh game of the year with 13 or more rebounds, adding at least 20 points in four of those outings. He has now tallied at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in four contests.

Impact Bagley returned Sunday after missing the last nine games due to a lumbar sprain, coming off the bench while leading all Wizards bench players in scoring and rebounds and ending two board shy of a double-double. Bagley, who also tallied a team-high-tying pair of blocks, has posted at least 10 points and eight rebounds in 13 games this season, four of which have occurred while coming off the bench.

Impact Poole ended up taking the court Saturday despite dealing with a hip injury that had him listed as questionable entering the contest, going on to lead all players in the game with a season-high assist total while adding a team-high trio of steals and ending two points shy of the 20-point mark in a winning effort. Poole has dished out 10 or more assists in two games this season, both of which have ended in a double-double performance.

Impact Jones is slated to miss a fifth straight game, and there's no timetable for his return. Jordan Poole (hip) had been starting in Jones' absence but is now dealing with an injury of his own. If Poole joins Jones on the sidelines, Jared Butler, Johnny Davis and Justin Champagnie would be candidates for increased roles.

Impact Making his fourth straight start since returning from a toe injury, Holmes had his best rebounding performance since Nov. 5 of 2021, when he ripped down 20 boards as a member of the Kings. The 30-year-old center is averaging 9.4 points, 8.8 boards, 1.0 assists and 0.8 blocks in 27.2 minutes a contest while getting the start in his last five games, and he should retain that role and workload until Marvin Bagley (back) is able to suit up again.

Kyle Kuzma - Hits for 31 in return Kuzma finished with 31 points (13-22 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Thursday's 109-102 win over the Kings.

Impact The 28-year-old forward had missed the prior two games with a sore left shoulder, but Kuzma looked good in his return. It's the fourth time since the All-Star break he's topped 30 points, and over that 14-game stretch Kuzma is averaging 24.9 points, 7.1 boards, 4.2 assists, 2.1 threes, 0,9 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting 51.0 percent from the floor.

Impact Avdija's poor free-throw shooting and lack of contributions in the two defensive categories might have limited the overall impact of his final line, but he exceeded his season-long averages in points, three-pointers, rebounds and assists to pay dividends for those that included him in fantasy lineups in his return from a three-game absence. With the Wizards sitting at 12-58 and having little on the line over the final three-plus weeks of the season, Avdija could be in store for more time off down the stretch. When available to play, however, Avdija should continue to handle a 30-plus-minute role.
