Harrison Barnes - Scores 19 points in winBarnes ended with 19 points (8-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and one steal in 34 minutes during Monday's 143-131 victory over Washington.
ImpactBarnes didn't do anything -- outside of a steal -- other than scoring in this game, but given the contest turned out to be closer than many expected, his contributions were valued as the Kings brushed off the challenge of a combative Wizards team. Barnes has been inconsistent with his scoring figures and has reached double-digit points in just four of his last nine games, and he will continue handling a secondary role in an offense led by two established stars in De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis.

Kevin Huerter - Struggles from deep in winHuerter had 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block across 23 minutes during Monday's 143-131 victory over the Wizards.
ImpactHuerter might have reached double-digit scoring numbers for the second game in a row, something he hadn't done since early December, but he continues to struggle with his shot, particularly from three-point range. He's shooting just 35.4 percent from deep over his last 10 games, which is a sizable downgrade compared to the 40.7 percent he's posted throughout the entire campaign.

De'Aaron Fox - Dominates against WashingtonFox contributed 30 points (10-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 8-12 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals over 33 minutes during Monday's 143-131 win over Washington.
ImpactEven though Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis stood out due to his individual performances, Fox has been outstanding as well, and the star guard continues to settle himself as one of the best floor generals in the Western Conference. Fox showed no ill effects of the shoulder injury that sidelined him against the Jazz on Saturday, and he should handle his regular workload going forward. Fox is in line for a tough matchup Wednesday against the Celtics.

Kyle Kuzma - Sniffs double-double in lossKuzma provided 27 points (8-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block across 29 minutes during Monday's 143-131 loss to the Kings.
ImpactThe Wizards competed hard but fell short in the second game in a row, losing to the Suns on Sunday and the Kings on Monday. Kuzma has been a steady offensive contributor despite Washington's overall struggles, however, as he has cleared the 20-point plateau in four of his last five appearances while averaging a career-best 23.2 points per game this season.

Jordan Poole - Scores 28 points in defeatPoole contributed 28 points (10-18 FG, 8-13 3Pt) and two assists over 29 minutes during Monday's 143-131 loss to the Kings.
ImpactPoole didn't do much outside of scoring, but his scoring figures were enough to make him a relevant fantasy contributor. However, the former Warriors guard has often been criticized due to his lack of consistency and efficiency, which has also been a trend in recent games. Even though he joined the Warriors with the idea of being the team's go-to scorer, it's worth noting such hasn't been the case, and it's already the clear second option on offense behind Kyle Kuzma. The numbers back that up, as Poole has scored 20 or more points in just three of his last 10 appearances.

Tyus Jones - Double-double streak snaps MondayJones ended Monday's 143-131 loss to Sacramento with 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt), one rebound, nine assists and one steal over 28 minutes.
ImpactJones finished with one assist away from recording what would've been his third straight double-double, and the point guard seems to be finally taking ownership of the offense of the team, allowing Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole to operate solely as scorers instead of primary ball-handlers. Jones has been playing very well in recent weeks, and if he can keep this up, then his fantasy stock should continue to move in the right direction.
DECEMBER 19, 2023ā€¢ROTOWIRE
Mike Muscala - Season-best performance MondayMuscala contributed 11 points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 143-131 loss to the Kings.
ImpactMuscala, posting points in just his ninth game through 14 appearances, notched double-digit scoring for the first time this season. The 32-year-old's scoring was fueled by a season-high six free-throw attempts. Although his foul drawing is likely an anomaly, Muscala has logged all of his minutes at center this season, so he frequents the paint more than previous campaigns despite his outside-in style.
