Knee still not 100 percent LaVine said his left knee still isn't 100 percent, and he anticipates having to play through the pain until he can address the issue during the offseason, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sport... Impact LaVine has scored 20-plus points in all three of the Bulls' post-break games, but he's shooting just 46.2 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from three during those contests, which are both just slightly below his season averages. The All-Star wing adds, "I might not be 100 percent. But me at 80 percent, 70 percent, whatever it is, it's still one of the best players in the NBA." He admitted that the treatment he is receiving now is like a "Band-Aid" that allows him to get to the level he needs to for games, but it isn't a long-term fix. LaVine is set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason and could be eligible for a five-year, $200 million deal if he re-signs with the Bulls, which could balloon to a supermax deal if he makes an All-NBA team. With the Bulls contending in the East and money on the line this offseason, LaVine has a lot to play for this season, and barring a significant setback, it doesn't appear like there's anything that will hinder him from finishing the campaign.
