Disappointing showing Jones ran for 53 yards on 12 carries against Kansas City on Sunday. Impact Jones didn't catch either of his two targets, marking a missed opportunity against a defense that often struggles to defend against even lesser running backs. Jones did well enough when given the ball in Sunday's game, but the opportunities just weren't there. Perhaps that was influenced by the struggles of the Jordan Love-led passing game, but if so it's not clear how soon relief might arrive. It's not known if Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19) will be available against Seattle in Week 10, so Jones might have to work within similar circumstances if Love is forced to make a second straight start. If Jones can reclaim a more substantial workload, though, his talent gives reason to expect a bounce-back.
