Ruled out for Week 7 Hicks (groin) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports. Impact Hicks was previously listed as questionable for the Bears' matchup with the Buccaneers, but he did not travel with the team and has been ruled out. Hicks is still dealing with a groin injury he suffered in Week 4. After missing Week 5, the 31-year-old was able to play through the injury in Week 6 against the Packers. It appears Hicks likely suffered a setback ahead of a road game at Tampa Bay, so the 6-foot-4, 335-pounder will now look to get back to the field in Week 8 when the Bears take on the 49ers. In Hicks' absence, Angelo Blackson is a likely candidate to take on a starting role.
