Returns to Green Bay Hale signed with the Packers' practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Impact Hale was designated as the Packers' International Player Pathway Program player earlier in August, and he's returned to the team's practice squad after missing the initial 53-man roster Tuesday. The Aussie kicker could suit up for Green Bay at some point this season if newly signed kicker Brayden Narveson struggles throughout the year.

Waived Tuesday Hale was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.

Impact The kicker signed with Green Bay in early August and was designated as the team's International Player Pathway Program player later in the month, meaning he can join the Packers' practice squad if he clears waivers. The Australian-born player went undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2024.

Impact The Australian-born kicker will not count against the Packers' 53-man roster, but he will have to clear waiver in order to join the team's practice squad, per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In a corresponding move, Green Bay cut defensive lineman Kenneth Odumegwu.
