Restructures deal Okafor recently signed a restructured contract that will make him a free agent in March, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact The restructured deal also clears over $2 million off Kansas City's cap this year, which was likely needed given the recent massive contract extensions given to Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones. Okafor is expected to reprise his starting role at defensive end this season. He recorded 22 tackles and five sacks across 10 games during the 2019 campaign.
