Impact Along with teammates (and roommates) Gardner Minshew and Michael Walker, Wingard found himself on the COVID list due to recent exposure to someone who tested positive for the virus. With his health not in question, Wingard can focus on locking down his roles as a depth safety and on special teams from a year ago.

Overall, he finished with 30 tackles (22 solo), one sack and one forced fumble in 16 games. As the Jags kick off camp, Wingard will have to wait until he passes the required tests before he can join his teammates.
