Impact Isabella stepped up in the absence of Christian Kirk (groin) as he finished second on the team in catches and receiving yards while grabbing touchdown passes in the first and third quarters. It was something of a surprising effort for Isabella, who had just one touchdown to his name heading into the game. The second-year wideout racked up 67 yards a week ago and seems to be finding a niche for himself in Arizona's pass-happy offense. It will be interesting to see how the targets are distributed next Sunday against the Panthers if Kirk returns.

In line for more work Isabella is poised for a bigger workload with Christian Kirk (groin) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Impact Isabella has earned exactly 14 offensive plays in both of Arizona's first two games of the season, falling short of a 20-percent snap share each time. Following word that Kirk is sidelined this weekend, his 69-percent share has been cleared for the likes of Isabella and KeeSean Johnson to work with DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald in three-wide sets. While Johnson is set to make his season debut Sunday after spending time on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Isabella is coming off a Week 2 performance versus Washington in which he recorded catches of 54 and 13 yards on his pair of targets. The speedster will aim to add a vertical element to the Cardinals offense in the short term.

Impact After finishing Week 1 without a target, Isabella bounced back and caught passes of 54 and 13 yards against the Football Team. However, he played just 18 percent of the offensive snaps as the clear No. 4 receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald. Isabella's speed (4.31 40-yard dash) makes him a big play waiting to happen, though, so he should be on fantasy radars in case a starter goes down.

Logs limited snaps Week 1 Isabella played 14 of 82 offensive snaps (17 percent) but wasn't targeted during Sunday's 24-20 win at San Francisco.
Impact The Cardinals operated primarily with 12 personnel, playing tight ends Dan Arnold 45 snaps on offense and Maxx Williams 43. As a result, Isabella wasn't given much opportunity behind the top wide receiver trio of DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk. And despite Isabella being listed as both the No. 1 kick and punt returner on the team's unofficial depth chart, Chase Edmonds and Kirk played those roles, respectively, Week 1. Due to all the impediments to production, Isabella may not develop a consistent role without the benefit of an injury to those in front of him.

Impact Isabella did little as a rookie in 2019 despite suiting up for 15 games. He managed to flash the 4.31 speed that made him a second-round pick in the form of an 88-yard touchdown Week 9 and a 55-yard catch Week 10, but those two plays accounted for most of his rookie production. Consistent reps out of the slot could provide Isabella the path he needs for playing time Year 2, but his upside will nonetheless be capped behind DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk.
