Signs with Lions Detroit signed Pittman off of the Jaguars' practice squad Tuesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Impact With the Lions dealing with a mountain of injuries to their defense, they saw fit to bring Pittman aboard to provide depth at linebacker. His fastest path to playing time may be on special teams, where he's already spent the majority of his NFL career.

Moves to Washington Pittman is signing with the Commanders on Thursday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Impact Pittman spent the previous four seasons with the Lions, seeing the vast majority of his snaps on special teams. The Wayne State product will likely be working to earn a similar role with his new team.
