Impact Hamilton has now opened Week 17 prep with back-to-back DNPs due to a hip issue after he played all of Arizona's defensive snaps in Sunday night's overtime loss to Tampa Bay. The veteran still has Friday's session to at least log some activity on the practice field before he'd carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Falcons. If Hamilton is eventually sidelined, then Marco Wilson (neck), Christian Matthew and Jace Whittaker would be slated to operate as the Cardinals' top cornerback options Sunday.

Impact Hamilton was the biggest beneficiary of absent starting cornerback Byron Murphy (back), logging 54 of 60 defensive snaps opposite Marco Wilson. Clearly, L.A. quarterback John Wolford was looking at Hamilton often, and the latter nearly matched his tackle total on the season prior to Sunday (15 in five games) in one fell swoop. Impact Hamilton suffered second-degree burns to his feet in a cooking accident in early September that sidelined him until Sunday. Due to not being able to use his feet while recovering, he lost muscle mass and only returned to working out and practicing recently.
