Impact Dulin was expected to handle an expanded role after T.Y. Hilton left with a groin injury, but the 23-year-old receiver picked up an injury of his own and spent the rest of the game on the sidelines. He caught a 13-yard pass before leaving. The Colts finished Week 8 with just three healthy receivers -- Zach Pascal, Michael Pittman and Marcus Johnson -- with a home matchup against Baltimore on the horizon.

Impact Dulin only took seven snaps on offense, but he provided the Colts with one of their biggest plays of the day in the second quarter. The wideout should continue to be active week in and week out due to his contributions on special teams, but Dulin is unlikely to be featured often in three-receiver sets.

Impact With Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell placed on IR, there was a chance that Dulin could emerge as the third receiver. However, Marcus Johnson played on 34 snaps and essentially overtook Fountain and Ashton Dulin as the No. 3 receiver even though he was just recently added to the active roster. Johnson had just one target, however, as it looks like the Colts will utilize tight ends in the passing game more than third and fourth receivers.

Impact With Michael Pittman out after leg surgery and Parris Campbell set to undergo knee surgery, Dulin could get significant playing time as either the No. 3 or No. 4 wide receiver. It's not clear who will emerge as the No. 3 receiver among Daurice Fountain, Dulin and rookie Dezmon Patmon. It's also possible the Colts could utilize more two-TE sets with Mo Alie-Cox becoming a major factor in the passing game.
