Rashod Bateman - Paces pass catchers in loss Bateman secured six of eight targets for 80 yards in the Ravens' 22-10 loss to the Dolphins on Thursday night. He also recovered a fumble.
Impact Bateman continued his quick ascent by co-leading the Ravens in receptions and pacing the club in receiving yardage as well. The rookie also alertly pounced on a Marquise Brown fumble to allow Baltimore to keep possession and continues to carve out a larger role by the week. Bateman now has eight targets in back-to-back contests and no fewer than six in any of his four games. A Week 11 road matchup against the Bears a week from Sunday will offer the opportunity for Bateman to up his catch total from that of the prior game for the third straight contest.

Devonta Freeman - Subdued in upset loss Freeman rushed 10 times for 35 yards and secured three of four targets for 23 yards in the Ravens' 22-10 loss to the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Impact While the score remained very close throughout most of the contest, Freeman had only a modest degree of opportunity on the ground and found running room hard to come by overall. The fact Lamar Jackson also had 52 total touches helped limit Freeman's role, although it was encouraging that he recorded multiple receptions for the third straight contest. Freeman's next opportunity to jump back into a more voluminous workload will come a week from Sunday in a Week 11 road matchup against the Bears, but backfield mate Latavius Murray (ankle) could also be healthy by that point and ready to reclaim his share of touches.

Impact The 24-year-old speedster was done in by an effective Dolphins scheme that saw Miami take away the deep ball consistently, which left Brown with his second-lowest yardage total of the season. Brown's sub-50-percent catch rate was also a disappointment and his second in the last three games, although on the bright side, he's now logged between 12 and 14 targets in his last three contests. Brown's first opportunity to bounce back comes a week from Sunday when the Ravens travel to Chicago for a Week 11 interconference clash with the Bears.
