Impact Kyren Williams only left the field for a single play out of the 77 the Rams ran on offense, even during overtime. Corum hasn't shown much in his limited usage, although he did see some action as a kick returner with marginal success. Williams struggled a bit in the victory, managing only 3.1 YPC and no touchdowns on his 22 carries, but Corum's role seems unlikely to change heading into a Week 10 Monday night showdown against the Dolphins.

Impact Corum's five touches came on just eight snaps on offense, but the rookie out of Michigan averaged just 2.4 YPC. Kyren Williams once again dominated the backfield with 97 yards on 23 carries, and has shown no signs of slowing down. On the season, Corum's 20-73-0 line isn't particularly inspiring, but he'll try to bounce back in a divisional showdown with the Seahawks in Week 9.

Impact The Rams as a unit only took 55 snaps on offense, so Corum's usage was capped at just six offensive snaps compared to starter Kyren Williams, who had another big fantasy day with a robust 21-76-2 rushing line. Surprisingly, both Corum and Williams were blanked as pass-catchers. Expect Corum's role to stay the same in a short week against a Minneapolis run-defense that was just gashed by the Lions and their "Sonic and Knuckles" combo of Jahmyr Gibbs (15-116-2) and David Montgomery (9-31-0) in Week 7.

Listed as top kick returner Corum is listed as the Rams' top kick returner on the Week 1 depth chart for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Lions, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.

Impact Corum is coming off an impressive training camp, in which he seems to have locked up the No. 2 running back role behind Kyren Williams, but coach Sean McVay appears ready and willing to also deploy both his top backs on special teams. McVay said Corum "has come in and done an outstanding job," per Kyle Austin of MLive.com, and that part of the reason Williams has been named Los Angeles' top punt returner is "confidence in [Corum] and Ronnie Rivers being able to spell [Williams] if need be." It's a bit unorthodox to now have Corum also working in the return game, though DaSilva notes that the rookie third-round pick has some experience there, having returned 18 kicks with Michigan from 2020-21. Williams is coming off an exceptional 2023 breakout campaign in which he dominated backfield reps, but adding special-teams duties to the workloads of he and Corum could necessitate some shifts. Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said that "organically will play itself out" Sunday night vs. Detroit.
