Staying in New York Berrios (quadriceps) is re-signing with the Jets on a two-year contract that includes $7 million guaranteed, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Impact Initial reports have it as a two-year, $12 million deal for the 26-year-old slot receiver, following a strong finish to his third NFL season. Berrios missed Week 18 with a quad injury that's likely healed by now, but prior to that, he had a four-game stretch (Weeks 14-17) with 20 catches for 180 yards and a touchdown and five carries for 25 yards and another two scores. He even added a kick-return TD in that stretch, which helped him earn a spot as a return specialist on the All-Pro team. The new contract suggests Berrios will have a steady role on offense going forward, in addition to his strong work on special teams. It's also a hint the Jets don't plan to re-sign fellow slot receiver Jamison Crowder.
