Busy against Bucs Hall racked up nine tackles (seven solo) and two passes defensed in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Buccaneers.
Impact Hall played well in coverage and in run support, though the Jets fell apart defensively after taking a 24-10 lead in the third quarter. The second-year cornerback out of Virginia has blossomed into a promising young starter on the outside for New York. Hall set a new single-game high with nine tackles and brought his season tackle total to 75 through 16 games. He's added 16 passes defensed.

Impact Hall landed on the COVID list Monday after testing positive but was able to clear the league protocols relatively quickly. The 24-year-old has played at least 91 percent of the defensive snaps in all 15 games this season and has 66 tackles (55 solo), a half-sack and 14 passes defensed.

Impact Hall is in danger of missing his first game of the season if he can not clear protocols in time for Sunday when the Jets host the Buccaneers. The second-year pro has been a bright spot in the Jets' secondary, and he's tied for sixth in the NFL in passes defensed on the season.
