Not on trade block Panthers coach Dave Canales said Wednesday that trading the recently benched Young is "not something we're really considering," David Newton of ESPN.com reports. Impact "We have a great situation with our quarterbacks right now with guys that have experience," Canales continued. "We love where we are at, and it's all hands on deck." After the Panthers were out-scored 73-13 over the first two weeks, Canales made the quick decision to pull the plug on Young, replacing him as the starter with steady veteran Andy Dalton. During the two losses, Young completed just 31 of 56 passes (55.4 percent) for 245 yards (4.4 yards per attempt), zero touchdowns and three interceptions. Only 10 of his 56 throws produced a first down, and Young absorbed six sacks. The Panthers are hoping a hard reset will help Young realize his No. 1 overall pick potential, but Canales didn't exactly completely rule out a future Young trade with his comments.
