Officially questionable Baker (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Impact Baker sat out Arizona's first two practices of the week, but he managed to upgrade to limited activity Friday. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said Thursday that he expects Baker to suit up against Buffalo, per Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com, so barring any setbacks it looks like the starting safety is trending in the right direction to face Josh Allen and the Bills.

Trending in right direction Coach Vance Joseph said Thursday that he expected Baker (groin) to play in Sunday's game against the Bills, Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Impact Baker has missed the past two days of practice while tending to the groin injury, but he doesn't appear to be in jeopardy of missing game action. The Washington product has been strong in the secondary despite battling injuries this season, racking up 64 tackles (51 solo), two sacks and two interceptions through seven games. Expect Baker to assume his usual starting role for Week 10, but if he suffers a setback, Deionte Thompson (knee) could be in line for a start if he's healthy.

Impact With five tackles and no other counting stats this past Sunday against the Dolphins, Baker matched his worst output of the season (he also had five tackles Week 2). While he recently got rid of the cast that was protecting his surgically repaired thumb and instead donned a splint Week 9, he emerged from that outing with a groin injury. He'll attempt to increase his activity level as the Cardinals prepare for Sunday's game versus the Bills.
