Impact Most of Davis' production came on a 63-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. He finished third among Bills running backs in rushing yards behind James Cook (10 carries for 44 yards) and Ty Johnson (three carries for 23 yards). Cook will likely continue to lead Buffalo's backfield in touches as long as he's healthy, so while Davis has flashed promising skills as both a rusher and a pass catcher, the rookie fourth-round pick's short-term fantasy value is capped by a lack of opportunities.

Dalton Kincaid - Doesn't do much with 10 targets Kincaid caught four of 10 targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Dolphins.
Impact Kincaid set a season high in targets, exceeding seven for the first time this season. The extra volume didn't lead to an uptick in production, but Kincaid has at least established a solid floor with over 30 yards in eight consecutive games after an 11-yard dud in the season opener. Kincaid will try to pick up the pace in Week 10 against the Colts.

Khalil Shakir - Typical production in Week 9 win Shakir caught six of seven targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Dolphins.
Impact Shakir finished second on the team in receiving yards behind Ray Davis (70), who got the vast majority of his production on a 63-yard touchdown catch. The Bills were without wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist) for this one, but that didn't meaningfully affect Shakir, who is averaging 5.3 catches for 58.9 receiving yards per game heading into a Week 10 road game against the Colts.

Impact The absence of Cooper may not necessarily result in an improved outlook for Shakir in Week 9; the third-year wideout had actually posted his two highest catch and target totals of the season (7-65-0 receiving line on seven targets in Week 7, 9-107-0 on 10 targets in Week 8) in the Bills' first two games following the acquisition of Cooper from the Browns. That being said, the opportunity for Shakir to play more snaps should be available with Cooper out of the mix, and if the Bills find themselves in a negative game script and end up eschewing the run in the second half, Shakir would presumably benefit to some degree.

Impact Samuel had been listed as questionable after he was a limited participant in practices throughout the week while nursing the pec injury, which kept him out for last Sunday's win over the Seahawks. The Bills will be without top wideout Amari Cooper (wrist) in Week 9, potentially opening the door for Samuel to take on more snaps. However, while Cooper was out of the picture from Weeks 1 through 6 before arriving in a trade with Cleveland, Samuel wasn't a noteworthy fantasy producer, as he averaged 16.3 yards from scrimmage per contest and failed to find the end zone during that six-game stretch.

Impact Even though Cooper took a questionable tag into the weekend after a trio of limited practices due to the left wrist issue, the prevailing expectation was that the wideout would be ready to go by Sunday. Cooper apparently wasn't able to make enough progress with his wrist leading up to kickoff, however, prompting the Bills to make him inactive in what will be his first absence of the season. With Cooper out of the mix, wideouts Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman as well as tight end Dalton Kincaid could see their target shares increase.
