Impact The veteran wideout linked up with Washington in late July, but it now appears the team has decided to move in another direction. Pringle's last regular-season action came with the Commanders in 2023, where he recorded 161 receiving yards on 14 receptions across 17 appearances.

Impact Pringle has re-joined the Commanders after playing with Washington during the 2023 season. The veteran wideout tallied 14 receptions for 161 yards and no touchdowns across 17 games last year, and he's expected to compete for another depth role in the Commanders' WR room as the preseason progresses.

Catches one pass Pringle caught his lone target for 16 yards in Sunday's 14-7 loss to the Giants.

Impact Pringle ran only three routes, fifth most among Washington's wide receivers. He could perhaps get a little more playing time in the future if the team grows frustrated with Jahan Dotson, but for now the Commanders seem more inclined to let their 2022 first-round pick work through his struggles. Pringle isn't likely to see more than a target or two Week 8 against Philadelphia.

Impact Injuries limited Pringle to 11 games, and he never caught more than two passes or gained 40 yards in a game. During the preseason, he missed significant time due to injury, and he certainly missed out on building chemistry with Justin Fields. It also didn't help that Pringle was part of a low-volume passing attack that frequently rotated its wide receivers. The only year of his four-year career in which he surpassed 170 yards was when he caught 42 passes for 568 yards and two touchdowns in 2021 with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. He's now an unrestricted free agent.

Impact Pringle's 35-yard touchdown with 2:43 left in the fourth quarter accounted for the vast majority of his production.
