Huntley rushed 10 times for 56 yards and a touchdown, with the majority of that production coming on one drive in the second half. His performance has earned him a spot on the active roster, but Allgeier likely will get first crack at being the lead back in Patterson's absence. Impact With starting running back Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) having been placed on the Falcons' injured reserve list Monday, the team saw fit to promote Huntley from its practice squad. The undrafted free agent out of Ball State rushed effectively with Patterson limited during Atlanta's 23-20 victory versus Cleveland on Sunday, taking 10 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown. Huntley actually tied rookie fifth-rounder Tyler Allgeier for the team lead in carries in Week 4, so it would not be surprising to see those two split carries as long as Patterson remains out.

Huntley is still third, at best, on the running-back depth chart, but the successful committee approach could earn the 23-year-old more opportunities moving forward. It will be interesting to see how the backfield touches are distributed against the Buccaneers' top-five rush defense next Sunday.
