Returns to practice Ridley (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Ridley was held out Thursday, but there hasn't been any suggestion his ankle injury is serious, and he'll have an extra day to prepare before the Falcons face the Packers on Monday. He's top five in a slew of key receiving stats, including yards (349, 2nd), touchdowns (four, t-1st) and air yards (559, 1st).

Sits out practice with ankle injury Ridley didn't participate in Thursday's practice due to an ankle injury, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Impact Ridley was one of seven starters to sit out the Falcons' first Week 4 practice coming off Sunday's 30-26 loss to the Bears. In that contest, Ridley served as Atlanta's No. 1 wideout while Julio Jones (hamstring) was sidelined, finishing with five receptions for 110 yards on 13 targets. Given that Jones was a limited participant Thursday, he looks to be ahead of Ridley health-wise heading into a Monday night matchup with the Packers. Ridley will still have two more opportunities to practice this week and ensure his availability for the primetime matchup.

Stays red-hot to start 2020 Ridley caught seven of a team-high 10 targets, collecting 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 40-39 loss to Dallas.

Impact The Alabama product is enjoying a prolific start to the 2020 campaign, as he has now led the Falcons in targets over each of the team's first two outings of the year, picking up an outstanding 16 catches, 239 yards and four touchdowns in the process. Rampant touchdown production is nothing new for Ridley, as with two touchdowns Week 1 against the Seahawks, he tied Julio Jones for the most receiving TDs (19) through a player's first 30 games as a Falcon. Atlanta has put up an astronomical 90 pass attempts through its first two outings of the year, indicating that Ridley may continue to provide immense value so long as he can stay healthy. The slate becomes more difficult in Week 3, however, as the Falcons host a Bears defense that has allowed just one receiver to go over 65 yards thus far this season.
