While it's unclear how the injury occured, he'll be out until at least a Week 17 matchup against the Giants. Marsh had been active for each of Chicago's last four games, serving both as a rotational outside linebacker and on special teams.

Promoted to active roster Marsh has been promoted to the Bears' active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Ravens, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

Impact Marsh is expected to make his season debut Sunday against Baltimore but he has plenty of experience in the NFL, having played in 92 games across seven seasons. He spent the 2020 campaign with the Jaguars, Colts and Steelers, and he has registered 175 tackles, 14 sacks and five forced fumbles throughout his career.
