Impact Wesco was forced out early with a calf injury and did not return during Week 13's loss to Green Bay. The tight end has now remained sidelined following Chicago's Week 14 bye, so he could be in jeopardy of missing his first game since the season opener against San Francisco. Wesco has caught two of four targets for 26 yards over 12 games while serving as Chicago's No. 2 tight end behind Cole Kmet, so his potential absence would leave Ryan Griffin to step up into a slightly bigger role Sunday against Philadelphia.

The bye week came at a particularly convenient time for Fields, who sat out the Bears' Week 12 loss to the Jets with a separated non-throwing shoulder before returning to action for the team's Week 13 loss to the Packers. The fact that Fields isn't listed with the shoulder issue on the Bears' Week 15 injury report suggests it's not anything the team is overly concerned about moving forward.

Impact With two straight absences at practice to begin Week 15 prep, Claypool will likely need to put in at least a limited session Friday in order for the Bears to feel optimistic about his availability for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Before the Bears' Week 14 bye, Claypool settled into a larger role at receiver in the absence of Darnell Mooney (ankle) in the team's Week 13 loss to the Packers.
