Equanimeous St. Brown - Blanked in defeat St. Brown failed to catch either of his two targets in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact St. Brown had been targeted 10 times over Chicago's previous two games, but with Chase Claypool having been added to the team, St. Brown played a minor role in the offense. Even before Claypool arrived, St. Brown had been held to fewer than 10 yards in three of his last five games. His uncertain role in the offense going forward will make him tough to count on when setting fantasy lineups.

N'Keal Harry - Quiet in losing effort Harry caught one pass for six yards in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact Harry has been targeted one or two times in each of his three games on Chicago's active roster, but with Chase Claypool immediately taking on a volume role after being acquired heading into this game, Harry may struggle to see an increase in targets going forward.

Dante Pettis - Targeted once in defeat Pettis caught one pass for 12 yards in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact After being targeted 13 times over Chicago's last three games, the team acquired Chase Claypool, and Pettis was barely involved in the offense against Miami. Even when Pettis was seeing targets, he had been held to fewer than three yards in five of eight games. It'll be difficult to trust him in fantasy lineups as long as he's outside the Bears' top-two receivers in a low-volume passing attack.

Chase Claypool - Six targets in Chicago debut Claypool caught two passes for 13 yards and rushed once for four yards in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact After Chicago acquired Claypool earlier in the week, he tied for second in targets on the team with Cole Kmet. Aside from Darnell Mooney and Claypool, no other Bears' receiver was targeted more than twice. It seems apparent that the team has every intention of making their new player an integral part of the offense. However, Chicago still has a low-volume passing attack, which may keep Claypool from having many upside games, though his usage this week provides encouragement that he could have a reasonable scoring floor.

Khalil Herbert - Lowest output in four weeks Herbert rushed seven times for 23 yards in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact After posting at least 74 scrimmage yards in three straight contests, Herbert had little room to run against a Miami defense that's held opposing running backs to 70 yards per game. With his rushing attempts fluctuating between four and 20 in any given week, Herbert's usage is difficult to predict. However, his typical weekly production since Week 3 makes him a high-floor fantasy option a majority of the time.

David Montgomery - Paces backfield in carries Montgomery rushed 14 times for 36 yards and brought in one of two targets for eight yards in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact Despite having been the subject of trade rumors leading up to Tuesday's deadline, Montgomery ultimately stayed put in the Windy City and ended up pacing the Bears backfield in carries. Montgomery's workload on the ground actually doubled up that of backfield mate Khalil Herbert, and he was the only one of the two to see a target. Chicago's ground-game usage has been difficult to predict game to game, however, so it remains to be seen if the distribution will remain the same in a Week 10 home matchup versus the vulnerable Lions defense.

Cole Kmet - Two more scores in loss Kmet secured five of six targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns and rushed twice for nine yards in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact Kmet was second or tied for second in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon for the Bears, but his pair of touchdown grabs made it a prolific fantasy day overall for the previously struggling tight end. Kmet, whose scores came from 18 and four yards in the second and fourth quarters, respectively, now has three trips to the end zone over the last two contests, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 10 home divisional matchup against the Lions.

Darnell Mooney - First TD of '22 in loss Mooney secured seven of eight targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also rushed once for two yards.
Impact Mooney led the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets while also recording his first touchdown of the season on a nifty 16-yard catch with 1:53 remaining in the first half. The third-year speedster's production continues to unsurprisingly run parallel to Justin Fields' improved efficiency and accuracy, as he now has at least five receptions in three of his last four games. Mooney will aim for another trip to the end zone in a favorable Week 10 home divisional battle against the Lions.

Impact Fields once again demonstrated why he's arguably the most explosive player at the quarterback position this side of Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen, almost single-handedly outpacing the high-octane Dolphins offense. Fields was reasonably effective once again as a passer while primarily working a short-area attack, and he tossed touchdowns of 18 and four yards to Cole Kmet, along with a beauty of a 16-yard scoring strike in the back left corner of the end zone to Darnell Mooney over Xavien Howard. However, Fields made even more of an impact on the ground with what was easily a team-leading and career-high yardage total, and his 61-yard touchdown scamper early in the second half served as a fitting example of his elite speed. Fields' first opportunity to build on Sunday's prolific performance comes in an appealing divisional matchup at Soldier Field against the Lions.
