Darnell Mooney - Not playing in finale Mooney (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Impact Mooney will sit out the season finale after he has been unable to resume practicing in any capacity since experiencing concussion symptoms following the Bears' Week 16 win over the Cardinals. Before missing the Bears' final two games of the 2023 campaign, Mooney was active for each of the first 15 contests and recorded a 31-414-1 receiving line on 61 targets. The 26-year-old is scheduled to become a free agent this offseason, and while the Bears could look to retain him, Mooney could be pushed down a spot or two on the depth chart after he was one of the NFL's least-productive No. 2 receivers when healthy in 2023.

Tyson Bagent - Past illness Bagent (illness) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers.

Impact The rookie quarterback out of Shepherd missed Chicago's first two practices this week with an illness, but after a full session Friday, it seems as if he's moved past the issue. Bagent is expected to continue serving as the Bears' No. 2 QB behind Justin Fields in Week 18.

Cole Kmet - Deemed questionable for Week 18 Kmet (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Impact While nursing the same knee injury last week, Kmet was listed as questionable and viewed as a true game-time decision leading up to the Bears' matchup with the Falcons. He was active for the contest, but Kmet was limited to a season-low 13 snaps in the Bears' 37-17 win. Kmet once again carries a questionable tag into the season finale, and though he's probably still less than 100 percent, he's presumably healthier than he was a week ago after he was able to put in a full practice Friday. Whether that translates to him handling the three-down role he's typically maintained for most of the season remains to be seen, but expect Kmet to at least receive clearance to play in advance of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

Impact Kmet is a step ahead of last week's practice regimen as he tends to a knee issue, putting in a limited session one day earlier this time around. Still, he entered last weekend listed as questionable for this past Sunday's game against the Falcons, for which he was active but blanked in the box score. It remains to be seen if Kmet has a designation ahead of Sunday's contest at Green Bay, something that will be revealed on Friday's injury report.

DJ Moore - Remains limited Thursday Moore (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.

Impact Moore was forced out of a Week 16 win against the Cardinals for a handful of snaps after his right ankle was rolled up on, but he avoided the Bears' Week 17 practice report entirely. He then had a field day versus the Falcons this past Sunday, reeling off nine catches (on 13 targets) for 159 yards and one touchdown. Nearly two weeks removed from the initial injury, Moore is experiencing restrictions on his on-field work, likely as a precautionary measure, and there's a chance Chicago clears up his status for Sunday's game in Green Bay as soon as it posts its final injury report of the week Friday.

Khalil Herbert - Dealing with back issue Herbert was limited at Thursday's practice due to a back injury.

Impact Herbert is making a midweek appearance on the Bears' Week 18 injury report after having no limitations whatsoever to kick off the week Wednesday. It's unclear if his availability for Sunday's game at Green Bay is in danger, but how he fares at Friday's session could be telling for his status. Herbert is coming off back-to-back 100-yard, one-touchdown efforts on the ground, so Chicago could be missing a big part of its offense if he's inhibited or even sidelined this weekend. Roschon Johnson and D'Onta Foreman would be next up in the team's backfield.
