Mike Gesicki - Back at practice Gesicki (hamstring) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Impact Gesicki didn't practice Wednesday, so the tight end's return to the field a day later -- albeit in a limited fashion -- has him trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants. However, Gesicki will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Zack Moss - Limited in return to practice Moss (foot) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Impact Moss was unable to practice Wednesday, so his return to a limited session a day later bodes well for his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Giants. Meanwhile, fellow RB Chase Brown (quadricep) was added to Cincinnati's injury report after being deemed limited Thursday. Friday's final report will reveal whether either running back heads into the weekend with a Week 6 designation.

Chase Brown - Added to injury report Brown was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited practice participant due to a quadriceps injury, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact With Zack Moss recovering from a foot injury, there's been some thought Brown could take on a huge workload this Sunday against the Giants. That's still a possibility, only now there's another variable. The Bengals' No. 3 running back, Trayveon Williams, has largely been a special teams player throughout his six-year pro career.

Impact Moss didn't practice Wednesday, so his presence on the field a day later is a positive indicator ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants. The Bengals' upcoming injury report will provide added context on that front, by clarifying Moss' official participation level Thursday.

Impact The Bengals really missed Hilton against the Ravens last week, doubly so once they lost Dax Hill early in the game.

Impact Rankins was limited in his first practice back, as one would expect to happen. There's some hope that he can play Sunday night against the Giants. The Bengals have only had Rankins and B.J. Hill out there together in five of a possible 20 quarters this season.

Impact Gesicki was on the field for 29 of the Bengals' 67 snaps on offense in this past Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens, en route to catching both of his targets for 31 yards. After logging 18 targets in his first three games this season, the veteran TE has seen just three over his last two outings, with the presence of rookie Erick All (14 catches -- on 14 targets -- for 92 yards in his last four contests) having started to hamper Gesicki's fantasy upside.

Impact The Bengals are now calling it a foot injury, after an ankle issue initially was reported when Moss left Sunday's loss to Baltimore in the fourth quarter. He returned to the game not long after and even took a carry, but he didn't look right and was then pulled for good, leaving Chase Brown to dominate backfield snaps at the end of the fourth quarter and into overtime. Brown should get a huge workload if Moss isn't ready to face the Giants come Sunday night.

Impact Ivey opened camp on the PUP list as he continued to recover from a torn ACL suffered in Week 15 last season. The 24-year-old now has a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed on the 53-man roster. Considering the amount of time he has missed, it's likely the Bengals may make use of most of that time, getting Ivey back up to speed.

As the rookie tight end continues to develop, its possible he can overtake Mike Gesicki as the unquestioned No. 1 option at tight end, but for now they both appear to be splitting duties closely as pass catching options. Nonetheless, All will look to continue his emergence in the offense as the Bengals visit the Giants in Week 6.

Impact All led all Cincinnati tight ends in playing time Sunday, as he was on the field for 52 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps. As the rookie tight end continues to develop, it's possible that he overtakes Mike Gesicki as the unquestioned top pass-catching option at the position, though Drew Sample (43 precent share in Week 5) also continues to see plenty of involvement as more of a blocker.

This marks the second-straight week in which the rookie played more snaps than Gesicki. The 29-year-old veteran could continue to see his role diminish with the emergence of All, limiting his fantasy upside. Gesicki remains difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 6 matchup with the Giants.

Impact Iosivas recorded just one reception for the second-straight week, as the wideout continues to be less involved in the Bengals offense with teammate Tee Higgins healthy. The 24-year-old played 53 of the Bengals' 67 offensive snaps behind Ja'Marr Chase (59) and ahead of Higgins (48). With Chase and Higgins dominating the target share, Iosivas is extremely difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production. The Bengals will square off against the Giants in Week 6.
