Tyler Shelvin - Won't face Kansas City Shelvin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Shelvin was active for the second time in Week 16 against Baltimore, though he played only three defensive snaps. He'll now be inactive once again due to the return of D.J. Reader (illness).

Jake Browning - Inactive against Kansas City Browning (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Chiefs, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Browning was elevated from the Bengals' practice squad to the active roster Saturday. However, that was likely insurance for Brandon Allen (illness), who was also activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday. Browning has not been active for a game this season.

Impact According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Pratt tested negative for the virus Saturday and was reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list later that day in anticipation that he would clear the NFL's COVID-19 return-to-play protocol Sunday morning. However, Dehner relays that Pratt's second test didn't return negative, leaving him unavailable to play Sunday. Logan Wilson and Markus Bailey are expected to serve as Cincinnati's primary linebackers while the team typically keeps four defensive linemen and five defensive backs on the field.
