Chris Evans - Tending to hamstring injury Evans was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
Impact According to Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Evans was spotted taking part in agility drills off to the side during the open portion of Wednesday's practice, but he apparently joined his healthy teammates on the field for at least part of the session to garner a "limited" tag. The rookie sixth-round pick is a bit banged up after he was pressed into his largest role of the season in the Week 6 win in Detroit while No. 2 back Samaje Perine (illness) was sidelined. Evans, who carried four times for 18 yards and added three receptions for 49 yards and a score, could have his snaps scaled back Week 7 in Baltimore if Perine is activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list in advance of that contest.

C.J. Uzomah - Hits pay dirt in win Uzomah caught all three of his targets for 15 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 34-11 win over the Lions.
Impact With Sunday's score, Uzomah has now found the end zone three times this season. The 6-foot-6, 260-pounder has been boom-or-bust through six games, racking up minimal catches and yards each week outside of his Week 4 performance against the Jaguars, when he recorded five catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Going forward, Uzomah will likely continue to be a touchdown-dependent tight end in an offense flush with talented pass catchers. Next up for the Bengals is a matchup with the Ravens in Week 7.

Impact For the second straight week, Boyd finished behind both Ja'Marr Chase (six) and Tee Higgins (six) in targets. The Cincinnati passing attack has taken a big step forward in 2021, which has certainly been aided by the addition of Chase as the fifth-overall selection in this year's draft.
