Reverts to practice squad Uzomah reverted back to the Eagles' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Impact Uzomah suited up for the Eagles' Week 11 win over the Commanders on Thursday night, playing just one offensive snap and failing to record a stat. He could rejoin Philadelphia's active roster as soon as Week 12's matchup against the Rams, as the Eagles are currently carrying just two tight ends: Grant Calcaterra and Dallas Goedert.

Impact Uzomah failed to make the Eagles' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he did manage to sign with the practice squad Oct. 10. He'll serve as the Eagles' No. 3 tight end Thursday behind Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra.

Expected to go on IR Coach Robert Saleh said Monday that Uzomah (knee) will go on injured reserve.
Impact Uzomah sprained his MCL in Sunday's loss to the Falcons. Once he's officially placed on injured reserve, Uzomah will be sidelined for a minimum of four weeks, so he won't be eligible to play before Week 18 against the Patriots. Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert had already been working ahead of Uzomah and will remain New York's top two tight ends.

Suffers MCL sprain Uzomah suffered an MCL sprain during the Jets' 13-8 loss to the Falcons on Sunday, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.
Impact Uzomah is in danger of missing time after exiting Sunday's game due to an MCL injury. The 2015 fifth-round pick has caught eight of 12 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in eight games played this season.
