Impact Tillman, the rookie third-round pick out of Tennessee, has been inactive the last three games (healthy for two of those three). When he was active, Tillman averaged 11 snaps per game and was targeted three times. That the Browns moved on from Peoples-Jones was logical; he was in the final year of his contract and seemingly fell out of favor as a target. The trade may not immediately mean much for Tillman as a fantasy asset, but he could be active going forward and an injury away from a more significant role.

Could replace Peoples-Jones Tillman will likely serve as the primary replacement for Donovan Peoples-Jones, whom the Browns traded to the Lions on Tuesday, Terry Pluto of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Impact Thornhill led the Browns in tackles during Sunday's loss and has now compiled seven or more tackles in three of the past four games. The 28-year-old is currently on pace for a new career high in tackles and will look to continue producing versus the Cardinals next week.

Perfect in loss Hopkins converted two of two field-goal attempts and both extra-point kicks in Sunday's 24-20 loss to Seattle in Week 8.

Impact Hopkins wasn't tested too hard, drilling two second-half attempts from 25 and 27 yards. Those kicks looked to be the difference, but quarterback PJ Walker's late interception gave the Seahawks possession near midfield, and the Browns' stout defense couldn't prevent the game-winning touchdown. Hopkins has converted 18 of 20 field-goal attempts (10 of 11 the last three games) and is tied for sixth in kicker scoring with 64 points.

Makes an appearance Thompson-Robinson completed his lone pass attempt for nine yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Seahawks.

Impact The rookie played one snap -- the first play of the second quarter -- and shoveled a pass to David Njoku. It was Thompson-Robinson's first appearance since Week 4. The Browns have been getting by with PJ Walker as a fill-in for the injured Deshaun Watson (shoulder) at quarterback, and while Walker's managed to pull out two wins in three weeks, he's thrown five interceptions and lost a fumble during that stretch. Two of his three turnovers Sunday led to two Seattle touchdowns, and Cleveland's running game and defense are the main reasons the team has experienced any success at all without Watson. Thompson-Robinson was overmatched in a Week 4 start against the Ravens, but he was put in a difficult position by the coaching staff, which thought Watson would be ready to play that week. A better prepared Thompson-Robinson could get more work if Watson's injury lingers and Walker's turnovers become a bigger issue.

Impact The hybrid role Cleveland's coaches envisioned for Moore on offense has not panned out, so he was given a chance to impact the game as a punt returner for the first time this season. While he's sitting on zero touchdowns and 36.6 receiving yards per game, Moore remains a big piece on offense and is second on team with 48 targets.

Productive in loss Strong gained 41 yards on 10 carries and caught his lone target for 41 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Seahawks. He also returned one kickoff for 15 yards.

Impact Strong, who played a season-high 24 snaps, led the Browns backfield in combined yards, as Kareem Hunt supplied 67 on 15 touches and Jerome Ford managed only 39 yards on 10 touches. Ford dealt with an ankle injury in practice during the week, which helps explain the near-equal three-way split. For a second straight game, Strong showed off his speed, and his 41-yard catch and run late in the first quarter set up the Browns' first touchdown. He also played in the fourth quarter of a close game for a second straight week and lined up at wideout a few times, and the coaching staff clearly trusts him. Ford (26 snaps) looked healthy in a managed role, and the Browns will monitor his ankle heading into a Week 9 tilt against Arizona. Strong's workload will depend to some extent on Ford's availability, but the former seems to have carved out a consistent role.

Most productive game of season Njoku recorded four receptions on eight targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Seahawks.

Impact Njoku earned his second-highest target total of the season, good for second-best on the team in Sunday's loss. He did the majority of his damage on two catches, the first of which was an 18-yard score followed by a 41-yard gain that helped set up a field goal at the close the drive. Though the Browns offense has stagnated with PJ Walker under center, Njoku has 17 targets and nine receptions for 131 yards combined across his last two games.

Three turnovers doom Browns Walker completed 15 of 31 passes for 248 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's loss to Seattle. He added six rushes for 27 yards and also lost a fumble.

Impact Walker dug the Browns an early hole after he fumbled midway through the first quarter to set up Seattle's second touchdown of the day. He also threw an interception just before the two-minute warning in the final quarter as Cleveland was trying to run out the clock with the lead. In between those miscues, he showed some promise by averaging eight yards per attempt while connecting with both Amari Cooper and David Njoku regularly to pick up chunk yardage. Walker is likely to remain the starter so long as Deshaun Watson (shoulder), who currently has an unclear timeline to return, is sidelined.

The Browns were clearly monitoring his volume and saved him for the fourth quarter, when he accounted for seven of his nine carries. Ford is unlikely to get a full workload during the second half of the season, though it's realistic to expect his volume to tick back up once his ankle has some time to heal. With that in mind, monitoring his practice participation will be important leading into a Week 9 matchup against the Cardinals.

Impact Cooper was the favorite target of PJ Walker and saw a season-high in targets -- the second time he's seen double-digit opportunities. Even with the backup quarterback, he was fairly efficient thanks to long receptions of 24, 22 and 20 yards. Cooper remains an inconsistent contributor, though he now has at least 80 yards in four of seven games on the campaign.
