The 29-year-old defensive end dealt with an ankle injury early in the year that has limited him earlier this season, and he has now recorded 23 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble over 11 games. While Clowney has not lived up to his level of play from years past, his potential absence would leave Cleveland short-handed opposite star pass rusher Myles Garrett moving forward.

Impact Johnson was presumably limited to a season-low 75 percent of his team's defensive snaps due to this issue Saturday. Nevertheless, the sixth-year safety still collected his second-most tackles in a game this season with nine, and he now ranks second on the Browns in tackles (81) behind fellow safety Grant Delpit (88) this season. Johnson's participation level in practice Tuesday should provide more clarity on his status heading into next Saturday's game against New Orleans.

Impact Njoku tied Amari Cooper for the team lead in targets, though he couldn't take advantage of his opportunity. His longest catch of the day went for only 13 yards, and he now has under 30 receiving yards in three of his last four games. Despite the lack of production, Njoku has racked up 25 targets in that span, a good indication that he remains heavily involved in the Cleveland offense.

Impact The Browns were in a positive game script for much of the contest, which allowed them to run a balanced offense. Watson wasn't asked to carry the team as a result, though he still struggled to a subpar 5.8 yards per attempt. Despite the inefficiency, he didn't turn the ball over and also managed to connect with Donovan Peoples-Jones for a three-yard touchdown late in the third quarter -- Watson's second score in three games this season. While there have been glimpses of promise in the last two weeks, Watson has also been held below 200 passing yards in two of his three starts.

Impact Peoples-Jones delivered what amounted to be the game-clinching score late in the third quarter with a three-yard touchdown reception. He was otherwise held in check, as his longest catch of the day went for 14 yards. Peoples-Jones remains a volatile option, tallying 45 or fewer receiving yards in three of his last five games. On the other hand, he has topped 70 receiving yards on six occasions for the campaign.

Impact Cooper paced the Browns in yards and tied for the team lead in both receptions and targets. He also accounted for Cleveland's longest play from scrimmage with a 28-yard catch and run midway through the third quarter. Even with those positives, Cooper has failed to top 60 receiving yards in three of his last five games and has suffered from Cleveland's general lack of offense in recent weeks.

Impact Despite a tough matchup, Chubb found himself in a positive game environment and put together a solid performance. He had only two rushes of more than 10 yards but still managed a solid 4.7 yards per carry to top 80 rushing yards for just the second time in his last six games. While the performance was positive, of Chubb's six 100-yard rushing performances, only one has come since Week 10. Even with the recent downturn in performance, he now has 1,252 rushing yards -- seven fewer than he posted across 14 games in 2021.
