Out at least four weeks Thompson (shoulder) was placed on the Buccaneers' practice injured list Monday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Impact Thompson suffered the injury in Thursday's loss to the Falcons after he was elevated from the practice squad for the matchup. However, he did revert to the practice squad Friday before his placement on the injured list. He'll now be out of action and unable to practice with the team for at least the next four weeks.

Stellar in second preseason game Thompson secured five of six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for 12 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-7 preseason loss to the Jaguars on Saturday night.
Impact Thompson has appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Seahawks since making his pro debut in 2021, but he has all of one catch to show for it. However, he's making a solid case in his longshot bid for a roster spot, following up his 3-26 line on four targets in the exhibition opener against the Bengals by either tying for or owning the team lead in receptions, receiving yards and targets Saturday night.
