Leads team in rushing yards Friday Edwards rushed three times for 28 yards and a touchdown while securing his lone target for nine yards during Friday's 20-12 preseason loss to Houston. Impact Edwards didn't record a touch until late in the third quarter during Friday's preseason opener, but he had a 24-yard rush in the fourth quarter that was the Steelers' longest running play of the game, and he punched it in for a one-yard touchdown on the next play. Edwards started one season at Georgia in college and worked as part of a committee, and he went undrafted this spring. Even though he's a solid pass protector, he faces an uphill battle to earn a spot on the 53-man roster behind Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren and Cordarrelle Patterson.
