Cooper Rush - Struggles in first 2024 start Rush completed 13 of 23 pass attempts for 45 yards while rushing twice for two yards and two lost fumbles in Sunday's 34-6 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Rush failed to move the ball on offense much at all against Philadelphia before mercifully being replaced late in the blowout loss. The veteran backup has had success in place of an injured Dak Prescott (hamstring) in the past, but Sunday's dud did not fall into that category of performances. Trey Lance didn't fare much better in his brief appearance, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the backups switch roles against the Texans in Week 11 for Monday Night Football.

Rico Dowdle - Leads DAL RBs with 12 carries Dowdle carried the ball 12 times for 53 yards while catching all three of his targets for as many yards in Sunday's 34-6 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact Dowdle was off to a good start on the ground before the score got out of hand and forced the team to abandon the run in the second half. Ezekiel Elliott (suspension) returned following a one-game absence, but he produced just 22 yards on six carries while losing a fumble. Dowdle should continue to serve as the Cowboys' top RB despite the team being in disarray at the QB position heading into next Monday's tilt against Houston.

CeeDee Lamb - Suffers from loss of QB Lamb finished with six receptions (10 targets) for 21 yards while adding three yards off of one rushing attempt in Sunday's 34-6 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact Lamb fell victim to the Cowboys' poor quarterback situation Sunday, netting just 24 yards off of seven touches in a one-sided loss. Dak Prescott (hamstring) is expected to miss a significant amount of time, which hurts every skill position player on Dallas' roster significantly. The 25-year-old Lamb should still garner a healthy amount of targets from either Cooper Rush or Trey Lance going forward, but Sunday's production is a good example of the drop off in talent between starter and backups. Lamb has enough pure talent to warrant starting in Week 11 against the Texans for Monday Night Football.

Impact Overshown suffered a knee injury in the third quarter and his status for the rest of the game is now up in the air. If Overshown is unable to return, Marist Liufau will likely see the majority of the snaps at strongside linebacker.
