Michael Gallup - Stays in Big D on five-year deal Gallup (knee) signed a five-year, $62.5 million contract extension with the Cowboys on Sunday. Impact Gallup had been trending toward a deal to remain with the Cowboys since early March, and he'll avoid free agency with a deal that will keep him in Dallas through the 2026 season. The 26-year-old sustained a clean ACL tear in early January, but there's hope that he'll be cleared for game action in time for the start of the regular season. Gallup appeared in nine games during the 2021 campaign and secured 35 of 62 targets for 445 yards and two touchdowns. Once he's fully healthy, he's in line to serve as the Cowboys' clear No. 2 receiver behind CeeDee Lamb after the team traded Amari Cooper to the Browns on Saturday.
