Zack Martin - Restructures contract Dallas restructured Martin's contract Tuesday, creating roughly $7 million in cap space, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official website reports.
Impact Martin initially signed a six-year, $84 million deal with the Cowboys in 2018, but his contract has been restructured in each of the past three seasons. The 31-year-old offensive guard started every game for Dallas after missing Week 1 while in the COVID-19 protocols.

Noah Brown - Signs one-year deal with Dallas Brown signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys on Tuesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Impact Brown, who was drafted by Dallas in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft, will stick with the franchise for a fifth season. He finished the 2021 campaign with 16 catches on 25 targets for 184 yards over 13 games, though a significant amount of that production (six catches for 53 yards) came in a Thanksgiving loss to the Raiders when both CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper were sidelined. Brown is expected to once again operate as a depth wideout for the Cowboys in 2022, although if both Cooper and Cedrick Wilson depart this offseason, he could head into Week 1 of 2022 as high as the No. 2 spot on the depth chart.

Dalton Schultz - Franchise tag official The Cowboys officially placed their franchise tag on Schultz on Tuesday.
Impact Schultz will carry a $10.9 million salary to stick with the Cowboys for the 2022 campaign, which gives both sides another year to negotiate an extension. The soon-to-be 26-year-old proved his value on offense by racking up 808 yards and eight touchdowns across 17 contests last season, and with Blake Jarwin (hip) expected to miss the start of the 2022 campaign, shoring up the No. 1 tight end spot was exceptionally vital. What's more, Amari Cooper has been floated as a potential cut candidate and Michael Gallup (knee) isn't necessarily a lock for Week 1 even if re-signed. That could position Schultz to kick off the upcoming campaign as the No. 2 target on offense behind CeeDee Lamb.
