Expected to practice Giants head coach Joe Judge said Wednesday that he expects Jones (neck) to participate in practice, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports. Impact Per Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site, Judge also said he expects Jones to practice Thursday and Friday, and the coach isn't yet counting out the quarterback from playing Sunday in Miami. That said, Jones already has been labeled week-to-week due to a neck strain, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, making it more likely than not that the signal-caller misses his first game of the season. Mike Glennon will be available for a spot start if Jones indeed can't go, while the Giants also recently signed Jake Fromm off the Bills' practice squad to serve as a backup option.
